Melee Wellmaker will create Elemental Wells matching your subclass type for charged melee kills, and Font of Wisdom will grant you enhanced super charge rate when you pick up elemental wells that match your subclass energy type. The combination of Melee Wellmaker and Font of Wisdom can be devastating. And of course Taking Charge works if you've done the Traveler's Chosen catalyst.Ģ. You can use both if you do, Swift Charge will give you Charged With Light for sidearm kills and Sustained Charge will do the same for auto rifle kills, or you can use Charge Harvester to get it from any kills. Traveler's Chosen or Monte Carlo will improve your melee uptime drastically and more or less eliminate the need for Heavy Handed. What are some ways you can alter or improve this build? Well:ġ. You can charge yourself up however you like I like Taking Charge because it synergizes with Absolution which I have in my boots so that I get melee energy for picking up Orbs of Power. That means it's less effort for you to get it back and use it again. That's right: as long as you are Charged With Light, you are only ever spending half your melee energy.
#Destiny an insurmountable skullfort mod#
Heavy Handed is a 7-cost arc Charged With Light mod that refunds half your melee energy in exchange for one stack of Charged With Light. This is not strictly necessary, but it is very funny. So basically if you throw a grenade at some red bars and kill them all, you will get most or all of your grenade back and give yourself a bunch of melee energy at the same time, which you can then turn into super energy. Cool, right? Well, Super Arsenal refunds grenade energy in exchange for grenade kills.

See, Momentum Transfer, a 3-cost arc gauntlets mod, grants melee energy when you cause damage with your grenade.
#Destiny an insurmountable skullfort code#
Momentum Transfer is here to exploit another inherent perk of Code of the Aggressor: Superior Arsenal. Do note that Hands-On normally costs 3 energy and is exclusive to arc helmets I am using the Season of the Lost artifact mod here. But we're not a Striker so we don't care about that right now. This mod has a ton of utility and is notably very good and hilarious with the exotic Titan helmet An Insurmountable Skullfort. Hands-On is pretty straightforward: use your melee ability, get bonus super energy. That said, we're putting three extra things to work for us here: Hands-On, Momentum Transfer, and Heavy Handed. Obviously the strategy is: run into a group of enemies and Shield Bash them, boom, extra super energy. In the Trenches grants super energy for kills while surrounded by enemies, and Doom Fangs grant super energy for void melee kills. There's lots of ways this can work and it absolutely can be expanded upon the above is just what I tend to use right now.Īt its base level, what we're doing here is using an innate perk of Code of the Aggressor, In the Trenches, and the best exotic for the subclass, Doom Fang Pauldrons, to build super energy. Basically what we are doing is having our charged melee ability up as much as possible and feeding ourselves super energy via our charged melee ability.
